    This Autumn, we’ll be transforming Vicar Lane into a safe space that invites you to come along and get involved. From 10th September we’ll be hosting an array of charities and support groups that offer the opportunity to gain advice, connect with others or speak confidentially with trained professionals.

    From managing mental health & rising costs to tackling loneliness and anxiety, at Vicar Lane, WE CARE and we’re delighted to invite you to various pop ups and workshops to help manage life a little better.

    All events will be FREE to join so keep an eye out on the live schedule below for upcoming dates for your diary!

    ‘Public Living Room’

    Hosted by Derbyshire Voluntary Actions Mental Health Liaison Service and The Georgia Bird Foundation

    Drop-In Session

    On Saturday the 10th September we will be holding a public living room where members of the public can just come for a chat and/or speak confidentially to mental health workers about mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

    Mental Health Awareness Workshop with Ellie Scott

    Drop-In Session

    A Mental health workshop providing an introduction to mental health. Included is how to recognise signs of stress and providing resources and services in Derbyshire that are available to everyone.

    ‘A Colourful world’ 

    Hosted by Junction a local charity who uses the arts to improve wellbeing and inspire change. Charity Number 515303

    Materials will be provided

    Drop-In Session

    In this pop-up workshop, you’ll explore creativity through colour, pattern and play to explore a new world without limits. We’ll be sharing the ways in which the Arts can improve wellbeing in people, places and whole communities. There’s no experience or art background needed to join the workshop, just the courage to get involved and have a go!

    A drop-in session hosted by Stand To. A local Derbyshire charity, dedicated to Derbyshire’s Ex-Forces community. Stand To offer free, confidential alcohol support services and provide access to DAAS in-house counselling team
