CAN YOU DONATE TO HELP THOSE MOST IN NEED IN OUR COMMUNITIES?
From Monday 4th December until Thursday 21st December, the Vicar Lane Food Bank will once again be open.
In support of Chesterfield Foodbank, we are looking for donations to help families and those most in need within our community this Christmas.
To get involved and help in any way you can, take a look at the items we are in need of below, choose from the wish list and drop off your donation at Iceland or the management suite located on Steeplegate.
The management suite is located opposite Iceland. Simply ring the buzzer to bring your donated supplies inside.
Although every donation is very important, we are specifically looking for the following items so please do check before bringing in your donations so we can ensure we are being as helpful as possible.
Tinned goods
Soup (meat and vegetarian)
Veg (peas, carrots, potatoes, sweetcorn)
Fruit (peach slices, pineapple, fruit cocktail)
Meat (corned beef, pork luncheon meat)
Fish (tuna, sardines, pilchards)
Pulses (baked beans, chickpeas, kidney beans)
Tomatoes
Meals (chicken korma, meatballs, chilli)
Pasta (spaghetti hoops, macaroni cheese)
Other non-perishable goods
Pasta, rice & couscous (max. 1kg bags)
Cereals (mix of adult & child friendly)
Porridge (max. 1kg bag)
Biscuits
Tea (max. 200 tea bags)
Coffee (small instant jars)
Condiments (ketchup, mayonnaise, brown
sauce, honey, jam, peanut butter)
Cooking oil (max. 1 litre)
UHT milk (1 or 2 litres)
Other non-perishable goods
Toilet roll (max 4 roll pack), Nappies (all sizes), Feminine hygiene products.
